The Maine Principals’ Association is moving high school football to 2021. The decision on Thursday ended months of debate on the sports that was hoping to be played during the Fall sports season.

Maine is the 18th state to move football to 2021. The District of Columbia has also moved football to next year. Michigan had changed the season to 2021, but earlier this week changed its original decision.
