Defending Texas 2A Division I champ Refugio jumped-out to a quick 14-0 lead, but after that Mart took control with 28 unanswered points on the way to a 34-21 win at AT&T Stadium Wednesday night. The championship is the sixth overall for Mart.
Running Shatydrick Bailey scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to win the game’s Offensive MVP award.
