According to The Detroit News, high school football practice in Michigan will open as scheduled on August 10. The only change is that the first week will be consist of conditioning and skills.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association will allow teams to start working-out in full pads on August 17.

No date has been set for the start of regular season games. The newspaper’s story states that a decision on that could happen by August 20. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the season would have started August 27.
