National Signing Day Central: Where Penn State signees played high school football

Penn State didn’t have any signees on National Signing Day Wednesday. All 27 Class of 2025 signees inked their Letters of Intent during the Early Signing Period in December.

Eight of the recruits played their high school football in Pennsylvania. Four players come to Happy Valley from neighboring New Jersey.

According to 247, Penn State nabbed the 15th best recruiting class.

Below is part of the school’s December news release welcoming the new class.

The Nittany Lions welcomed 27 student-athletes, who signed National Letters of Intent to join the football program. Fourteen of the signees will be early enrollees in January – DL Randy Adirika, OL Owen Aliciene, LB LaVar Arrington II, DL Dayshaun Burnett, DB Daryus Dixson, RB Tikey Hayes, WR Koby Howard, DL Yvan Kemajou, TE Brian Kortovich, QB Bekkem Kritza, WR Matt Outten, WR Lyrick Samuel, LB Alex Tatsch and DB Braz Thomas.

Penn State signed 24 recruits that were rated four stars or higher by 247Sports, On3, ESPN or Rivals.

Penn State’s class features players from 10 different states. The Nittany Lions signed 20 prospects from Pennsylvania or bordering states.

The Class of 2025 features 14 offensive signees and 13 defensive players. There are 20 team captains, five players who have won a state or national championship and two players invited to All-American Bowls.
