For the third time in the last four years, Cherry Creek and Valor Christian will square-off for the Colorado 5A state championship. When the two meet at Empower Field at Mile High on December 4, the teams will hit the field ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the High School Football America Colorado Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football.
Valor Christian will enter the game as the top team in the state, while two-time defending state champ Cherry Creek is No. 2. VC won the 2018 matchup, while Cherry Creek won last year’s 5A title game.
