Los Alamitos, playing one of the toughest high school football schedules in the nation, improved to 3-2 Thursday night. The Griffins, ranked No. 103 in the High School Football America 300, powered by NFL Play Football, beat previously undefeated Santa Margarita (4-1) at Veterans Stadium by a score of 69-49.
It was Los Al’s second straight win over a Trinity League foe. The Griffins beat Servite last week.
Colorado State-recruit Damian Henderson had a huge night with 305 yards rushing with five touchdowns, according to the OC Register, in the high-scoring affair.
