Duncanville will not have a chance to three-peat. Saturday, the Panthers, No. 4 in the High School Football America 300, powered by NFL Play Football, lost to No. 16 North Crowley 36-34 in the Class 6A Division I state semifinals.
North Crowley led 12-0 before Duncanville even ran an offensive play.
Duncanville fought back to trail 15-14 at the half. The took their first lead at the start of the third quarter with a 58-yard hook-up between Gatorade National Football Player of the Year Keelon Russell and Dakorien Moore.
North Crowley came right back and took the lead that it wouldn’t give up.
