Massillon Washington is moving-on to the Ohio Division II state semifinals after knocking-off four-time defending state champ Archbishop Hoban in a battle of High School Football America 100 teams Friday night. The Tigers, ranked No. 45 in the Top 100, never trailed in a 17-14 victory at the University of Akron that saw all of the points coming in the first half.
The game was a rematch of last year’s Division II champ game between the two that Hoban won 42-28. The Tigers scored the first points midway through the first quarter.

No. 24 Hoban scored on the next possession to tie things up at 7-7. Just before the end of the first quarter, Massillon grabbed a 14-7 lead.
