No. 5 Chaminade-Madonna jumped-out to a 21-0 lead on the way to a 28-16 win over No. 13 American Heritage (Plantation) Friday night. C-M (4-0) has now beaten four straight opponents that entered the game ranked in the High School Football America Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
The Lions opened with a win over No. 7 St. Frances Academy (Maryland), followed by victory over No. 23 Cardinal Gibbons. Last week, they beat New Jersey’s Bergen Catholic that entered the game No. 14 in the nation.
Ohio State-recruit Jeremiah Smith had two touchdown catches.
Next up for C-M is No. 10 Miami Central next week.
