St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC) is the 2022 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champ after beating DeMatha (Maryland) 7-3 Sunday, giving the Cadets a second straight WCAC title.
Myles Slade’s touchdown pass to Asa Gregg with 1:46 to play in the game was the game-winner for SJC, which entered the game ranked No. 52 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. DeMatha was ranked No. 19 in the nation.
