Northwestern Lehigh wins the Pennsylvania 3a high school football championship

Northwestern Lehigh (16-0) capped a perfect 2024 season with a 36-33 overtime win over Avonworth to win the Pennsylvania 3A high school football championship. The win gives the Tigers their first-ever state football championship.

Eli Zimmerman led a strong ground game with 123-yards and three touchdowns. However, his final 10-yards for the winning score in OT were the most important.
