Oak Grove converted a two-point conversion with seven seconds left in the game to surprise the Oxford Chargers 29 to 28 in the 6A championship game. The win moves the Warriors to the top spot in the final High School Football America Mississippi Top 10 statewide rankings for 2020.
In the 5A title game, No. 7 West Jones captured its first title with a 33-27 win over No. 8 West Point. The win snapped West Point’s run of four straight state championships.
