Led by junior quarterback Brandon Porter, Oak Hills (9-5) beat Serrano Friday night 41-20 to capture the CIF-Southern Section Eastern Division title. Porter was a perfect 9-for-9 in the passing department for 161 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 133 yards and two scores.
The Oak Hills win avenged its regular season Mojave River League loss to Serrano, which was playing in its third division final in the last four years. Serrano (11-3) has dropped all three of those games.
