Trinity (Kentucky), No. 1 in the latest High School Football America Mid-Atlantic Top 20, will get another good test on its very tough regular season schedule when the Shamrocks play their arch-rival St. Xavier (Kentucky), ranked No. 11 in the regional rankings. Both teams are also ranked in our Top 100 national rankings with Trinity at No. 8 and St. X at No. 78.
No. 3 DeMatha (Maryland), No. 4 Brentwood Academy (Tennessee) and No. 5 St. Frances Academy (Maryland) all inch-up a spot this week in the rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm. Their one spot moves were because former No. 3 St. John’s College High School (Washington, D.C.) lost to nationally-ranked St. John Bosco (California) on Saturday. The Cadets fall to No. 6.
