ABC7 in San Francisco is reporting that a high school football player at Encinal High School in Alameda died during a preseason practice on Tuesday. 15-year old Giovanni Pulido reportedly collapsed on the field after conditioning last evening. He was taken to Highland Hospital, where he died.
