It’s time to settle who’s the best high school football team in California. The curtain has fallen on the ’23 regular season with St. John Bosco sitting at the top of the High School Football America California Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
Bosco knows its path to a second straight national title. The Braves will open the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 playoffs in two weeks against No. 16 San Clemente. A win would send them into the semifinals against the winner of the game between No. 4 Corona Centennial and No. 9 Orange Lutheran.
Waiting on the other side of the bracket is arch-rival Mater Dei. The No. 2 Monarchs will open the playoffs against No. 13 JSerra. Waiting in the semifinals will be the winner of the first round game between No. 3 Sierra Canyon and No. 12 Santa Margarita.
