I’ve visited a lot of high school football stadiums through the years, but on my recent trip back home to Pennsylvania I decided to pay a visit to Palisades High School in Kintnersville. It had been years since I visited the home of the Pirates and much to my surprise, I found a cool addition to Walter T. Rohrer Stadium — a pirate ship.

Palisades finished 13-1 last season, advancing to the quarterfinal round of Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 3A playoffs. The Pirates enter 2018 as the reigning Colonial League and District XI champs.

In addition to my Stadium Project photos, enjoy my video tour of the pirate ship. BTW, I called the front of the ship the stern, I now know it’s the bow.
