After seven weeks of double-digits head-to-head games inside the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football, this week there were only two intra-Top 100 games.

In Texas, No. 38 Bridgeland lost to rival Cyrpress Ranch 38-28 in a wild one outside of Houston. CR roared-out to a 28-0 lead, but by the fourth quarter, we were all tied.

The Mustangs won it on a Charlie Feris 49-yard field goal with :42 second left. A Pick-6 by Jonavon Dennis provided the final margin of victory.
In Philadelphia, a 2-4 Roman Catholic team shocked No. 52 La Salle College High School 27-20. The win came one week after La Salle knocked-off three-time defending champ St. Joseph Prep, No. 54 this week in the High School Football America 100.
Sophomore Tyseer Denmark had a big game with seven receptions for 203 yards and a touchdown, plus he ran the ball nine times for 30 yards and three scores.
In New Jersey, St. Peter’s Prep lost for the second week in a row, which will continue the Marauders slide down the national rankings after climbing as high as No. 22. No. 58 SPP lost to No. 149 St. Joseph Regional (Montvale) 21-14.

In Ohio, No. 97 St. Ignatius lost in overtime to No. 140 Archibishop Moeller. The Crusaders went for two-and-the-win at the end of the game.

In Louisiana, No. 65 Brother Martin defeated No. 79 Archbishop Rummel 45-14

In Texas, No. 61 Highland Park nipped No. 92 Longview 21-16
Thursday
In California, No. 24 Servite improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the Trinity League after beating No. 95 Santa Margarita 48-21. Houston Thomas ran for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

In Tennessee, No. 10 Oakland needed a defensive stop at the end to beat No. 114 Christ Presbyterian Academy 27-24 in a battle of defending state champs. The defending 6A champs won their 22nd straight when Korey Smith sacked Cade Lawn at the Oakland 9. CPA won last year’s Division II-AA title.
