For the first time this season, Allen‘s offense was held under 50 points Thursday night against Plano, but Eagles fans weren’t worried about that number, because they were too busy smiling at the three points allowed by the defense that has been struggling in the early going allowing 122 points in three games. Allen improved to 4-0 with a 42-3 that saw the defense only allow 175 yards in total offense with only eight first downs.
Allen QB Kyler Murray continues to rack-up great passing numbers – 22 of 33 for 329 yards and two touchdowns. Notre Dame-recruit Jalen Guyton caught nine of those passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. Right behind Guyton was Cody Butler with seven catches for 105 yards.
