Touchdown Club of Gwinnett honors 2021’s top performers

Three players for Collin Hills’s 2021 Georgia 7A championship high school football team have been honored by the Touchdown Club of Gwinnett.

Travis Hunter, the overall No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022, was named Gwinnett’s Athlete of the Year. Hunter, the standout two-way starter, will play for Deion Sanders at Jackson State.

Sam Horn was named Quarterback of the Year and Dion Crawford was Outside Linebacker of the Year.

Collins Hill finished 2021 ranked No. 26 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Buford, ranked No. 21 in the nation, had two players capture position awards. Isaiah Bond was the Wide Receiver of the Year and Alejandro Mata won Kicker of the Year.
