On the same day that New Mexico decided to play high school football next Spring, the Utah High School Activities Association voted in-favor of playing football in the Fall as scheduled.

Now, it should be pointed-out that the vote doesn’t mean that there will definitely be football in the Fall, it just means that the state’s governing body is continuing to plan as though there will be game starting in mid-August.
Like all states across the nation, Utah shutdown high school sports in the Spring due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The UHSAA Board of Trustees will meet at the end of July to reassess its Thursday decision.
