The High School Football America Louisiana Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football, welcomes Warren Easton into the latest rankings. The formerly unranked Eagles are ranked No. 3 this week after beating former No. 2 Catholic (Baton Rouge) 49-26. The victory also lifted the Eagles to No. 66 in the HSFA 300 national rankings, heading into this weekend’s showdown with No. 2 Edna Karr.
The most disappointing point of last week was the announcement that top-ranked John Curtis would play its scheduled game against Zachary, which was ranked No. 8 last week. Patriots head coach JT Curtis said the game was cancelled because Zachary wouldn’t travel to New Orleans.
Aside from the Top 10 showdown between Karr and Easton, No. 6 Brother Martin will square-off with No. 7 St. Thomas More.
