The inaugural Battle At The Beach high school football series begins this weekend in Naples, Florida. Kicking-off the three weekend event will be Virginia’s Life Christian Academy playing Godby High from Florida at the new Paradise Coast Sports Complex.
The game will air LIVE on FloSports. The game will be produced by Prep Gridiron Logistics (PGL), the #1 high school football promoter in America, PGL is partnering with FloSports, a leading sports streaming and original content network, to bring elite high school football games to audiences around the world. This year is the first of a four-year deal that will feature a minimum of 100 games and hundreds of hours of live programming on FloSports’ award-winning digital platform.

Life Christian Academy from Richmond, Virginia is an up-and-coming private school that plays a national schedule. The Eagles enter 2021 ranked No. 132 in the High School Football America preseason national rankings powered by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels.
LCA began playing football in 2018 under head coach Charles Scott. While the Eagles haven’t produced a .500 season yet, they did pick-up impressive road wins over Texas-power Cibolo Steele and Tennessee-power McCallie last year. McCallie went-on to capture Tennessee’s Division II-AAA state title in 2020.
LCA has plenty of Division I talent, led by 3-star offensive tackle Trevyon Green, a 6-foot-7, 354-pounder with quick feet. Green has given his verbal commitment to North Carolina.
Godby advanced to the second round of the Florida 5A playoffs in 2020. Offensively, the Cougars are led by Vanderbilt commit Chase Gillespie.
