One week after being crushed by Nevada-power Bishop Gorman, Long Beach Poly is the big mover in the latest High School Football America California Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Jackrabbits move from No. 14 to No. 8 after beating former No. 4 Mission Viejo 32-28.
St. John Bosco, Mater Dei and Corona Centennial remain No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 respectively in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. All three will play out-of-state opponents ranked in the HSFA 300 national rankings.
Bosco, the defending HSFA national champs, will play No. 36 St. Frances Academy from Maryland. Bosco is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation in our national rankings.
No. 2 Mater Dei will play two-time Hawaii Open Division champ Kahuku, ranked No. 46 in America.
Corona Centennial, ranked No. 20 nationally, played No. 3 Bishop Gorman.
