All six Trinity League teams are now in the High School Football America California Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Servite became the sixth team in the statewide rankings after beating former No. 14 Los Alamitos 28-24 last Friday. The Friars sit at No. 20, while Los Al drops to No. 21.
Los Al will try to rebound Friday night when it travels south to play No. 8 Mission Viejo.
Orange Lutheran will also try to get things back on track after losing to Chandler (Arizona) 35-10 last week. The Lancers, who fell from No. 4 to No. 6, will play No. 4 Sierra Canyon at home Friday night.
The third Top 25 head-to-head this weekend will be No. 14 Oaks Christian taking on No. 16 Serra (Gardena).
Up north, No. 17 De La Salle plays No. 25 St. Mary’s (Stockton).
