The Woodland Hills school board has hired Kevin Murray as the school’s new head football coach.
Murray, the principal at Woodland Hills Junior/Senior High School, made headlines last year when he was suspended after he was accused of threatening a student. However, no charges were filed and Murray returned to work in January.
Murray becomes the school’s second head coach, taking-over for legendary George Novak, who let the football program since it began. Novak retired at the end of 2016 after a lifetime coaching record of 306-139-3.
