Nevada’s Bishop Gorman and Liberty sit No. 1 and No. 2 in the High School Football America Mountain Region Preseason Top 25. They are two of eight teams from Nevada in the rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Both teams are ranked in our Preseason 100 national rankings — Bishop Gorman is No. 29, Liberty is No. 68.

The only other team from the region in our national Top 100 is Utah’s Corner Canyon at No. 92. Utah leads the region with nine overall teams in the Top 25.

Colorado has six teams in the regional rankings, led by Valor Christian at No. 6.

Idaho has two teams in the Mountain Regional Top 25. Highland is ranked No. 20, while defending 5A champ Rocky Mountain is No. 25.
