For the first time since 2013 Cheyenne East High School can call itself state football champions. East quarterback Graedyn Buell ran for 235 yards with four touchdowns in a 29-15 win over Thunder Basin in the 4A state championship game.

East, which entered the game ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Wyoming Top 5, finishes 11-1 on the season with Thunder Basin ending-up 9-3.
In 3A, Cody beat Jackson Hole 34-13 in a battle of teams nicknamed the Broncs. It gives Cody, ranked No. 3 in our statewide rankings, its second state championship in three years. Cody finishes 10-1 and Jackson Hole finishes No. 3.
Trailing 3-0 nothing early in the fourth quarter, Lyman scored two touchdowns over the final 9:30 to beat Torrington 14-3 for the Class 2A championship. The Lyman defense forced five turnovers.
In the Class 1A 9-Man championship, Southeast beat Lusk 47-28. In 2018, Southeast didn’t win a game while competing in 11-man football. The Southeast Cyclones finish 2020 a perfect 11-0.
Farson-Eden captures the Class 1A 6-Man title by scoring 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter against Meeteetse to win 42-30. The Pronghorns finish a perfect 11-0.
