It’s semifinal week in Georgia high school football.
In Class 7A, it will be No. 1 Lowndes taking-on No. 4 North Gwinnett, coming-off its upset of McEachern in the quarterfinals, and No. 2 Marietta squaring-off with Parkview. All four 7A semifinalist are also ranked in the High School Football America 100 Top 25.
In all, ten teams from Georgia are in the latest Top 100.

Dacula cracked the National 100 with its win over Lee County to advance to the Class 6A semis. This week, the Falcons will face No. 16 Harrison in a battle of unbeatens.
Jones County returns to the Georgia Top 25 at No. 25 this week. This week, the Greyhounds meet No. 9 Buford in the 5A semis. In the national rankings, the Wolves are ranked No. 93 this week.
Woodward Academy, which handed Cartersville its first loss of the year and knocked the Hurricanes out of the national rankings, moves-up five spots to No. 17 in the latest statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. This week, the War Eagles play two-time defending state champ Blessed Trinity in the 4A semis. No. 19 Blessed Trinity’s only loss this year came on September 6 when it loss to Woodward 13-10.
