Colorado News: Ed McCaffrey steps down at Valor Christian to take a college head coaching job

Former NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey is no longer the head coach at Valor Christian. McCaffrey has resigned to take the head coaching job at the University of Colorado.

In two years at the helm of Valor Christian, the former Denver Bronco, New York Giant and San Francisco 49er led the Eagles to a 26-2 record with a state championship coming in his first season. The Eagles finished No. 60 in the High School Football America 100 in 2018.

VC finished 10-2 this year and ranked No. 5 in our Colorado Top 10.
