For the ninth time in the last twelve years, Martinsburg is a West Virginia high school football state champ. The Bulldogs, No. 1 in the High School Football America West Virginia Top 5, beat No. 2 Huntington 62-21 for the Class AAA state championship.
It was a record-setting game for Hudson Clement, who tied a state championship record with eight touchdowns. He scored four rushing and four receiving.
