Bishop Noll High School in Hammond has decided not to play varsity football this fall due to low numbers. Bishop Noll is the second school this year to announce it is dropping varsity football for 2018. Two weeks ago, Wood Memorial cancelled the 2018 season.
According to the Indy Star, Bishop Noll won’t play varsity football this year or in 2019. Instead, it will school will play a junior varsity schedule for the next two years.
Bishop Noll hasn’t had a winning season since 2006.
