For the first time ever, Chanhassen finishes a high school football season as the top team in the High School Football America Minnesota Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Storm finishes as the best team in the state after beating St. Thomas Academy in overtime for the AAAAA state title. It was the school’s first-ever state football championship.
Class AAAAAA champ Centennial finishes No. 2 in the state, followed by Mankato West at No. 3, Andover at No. 4, STA at No. 5, Alexandria at No. 6, Edina at No. 7, Eden Prairie at No. 8, Lakeville South at No. 9 and Lakeville North at No. 10
