Reigning Class LL champ Darien starts 2022 as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Connecticut Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Blue Wave will get a good test out of the box as they face No. 5 St. Joseph on Saturday.
This season marks the start of a new alignment in the Nutmeg State. The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference has added two classifications in football, which means their will be six champs crowned in December.
