For the first time since 1992, California’s De La Salle has lost a game. Saturday night, the Spartans lost 39-20 to Washington’s Bellevue High School before 24, 987 fans at Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks.
Bellevue snapped De La Salle’s record 151-game streak without punting and without throwing a pass.
Senior running J.R. Hasty carried the ball 30 times for 271 yards and scoring on runs of 74, 1, 9 and 2 yards.
