Cass Tech wrapped-up the High School Football America Midwest Regional #1 ranking by winning the Michigan Division 1 state championship over the weekend. The Technicians finished a perfect 14-0 by beating former #5 Detroit Catholic Central, which falls to #10.
Carmel, which won the Indiana Class 6A state title by beating former #3 Center Grove in the state championship game, climbs eight spots to #2, followed by Maine South (Illinois), which breaks into the rankings after beating former #2 Loyola Academy in the Illinois 8A championship.
