It’s showdown time in south Georgia. No. 1 Lowndes squares-off with No. 3 Colquitt County Friday night with the AAAAAAA-Region 1 title on the line. The top-ranked Vikings are also ranked No. 7 in the nation in the High School Football America 100, while CC is No. 26.
Also this week, No. 3 Marietta takes-on No. 8 Hillgrove.
As far as the latest rankings, it’s a calm week with only a small flip-flop at No. 17 and No. 18. Marist moves up to No. 17 while Camden County drops to No. 18.
