This week’s High School Football America 100 features ten head-to-head matchups. There should have been eleven, but the No. 8 St. Peter’s Prep vs. No. 39 Bergen Catholic in New Jersey was canceled due to a COVID-19 diagnosis in the SPP program.

There were two Top 100 head-to-heads in Georgia where No. 30 Colquitt County had a rather easy 40-10 win over No. 3 Lowndes. No. 7 Grayson will make to the No. 1 spot in Georgia thanks to its 58-17 blowout of No. 86 Brookwood.

In Florida, No. 22 St Thomas Aquinas continues to rebound from its loss two weeks ago to Cardinal Gibbons. Friday night, on national television, the Raiders beat No. 18 American Heritage (Plantation, Florida) 33-23.

No. 76 Cocoa will continue its climb in the national rankings thanks to its 45-34 win over No. 58 Rockledge in the rivalry game knowns as the Barbecue Bowl.

Defending Ohio Division I champ Pickerington Central is back into the state championship game thanks to a 38-31 defeat of Mentor. The Tigers will play No. 37 St. Xavier next week.

No. 32 Massillon Washington is in the Ohio Division II Final 4 after beating No. 84 Massillon Perry Friday night 43-13 in a neighborhood rivalry game. Next week, the Tigers will meet No. 43 La Salle in the state semifinals in a rematch of last year’s state championship game won by La Salle 34-17.
