The Louisiana High School Athletic Association is moving forward with high school football in 2020 after its Executive Committee votes 22-1 to begin playing games in early October.
The LHSAA has put together a plan that has an eight-game regular season starting October 1-3. The plan also includes a preseason scrimmage at the end of September. The postseason will include the tradition 32-team brackets with the 2020 Prep Classic state championships being played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome December 26-28.
