Miami Central is celebrating today after getting revenge against Carol City Friday night. Three weeks after being beaten soundly by Carol City, the Rockets bounced back with a 30-21 victory that sends them into the quarterfinal round of the Florida Class 6A playoffs.

This one was close throughout. With Central leading 24-21, Carol City drove to the Rockets’ 20 yard line. That’s when Tatum Bethune came up with an interception.

Two plays later Lexington Joseph ripped-off an 80-yard TD run to seal the victory for the Rockets who will hope to improve on their No. 12 national ranking in the new High School Football America 100 that will be released Sunday.
