With most high-profile out-of-state high school football games being wiped-out by the coronavirus pandemic, Saturday’s showdown between No. 2 IMG Academy and No. 9 Duncanville served as the biggest interstate game of 2020.

While Duncanville grabbed early bragging rights with a 7-3 lead, it was all IMG after that on the way to a 41-14 victory at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. The victory snapped Duncanville’s 32-game regular season win streak.

Michigan-recruit J.J. McCarthy completed 19 of 30 passing attempts for 246 yards and three touchdowns in the victory that improves the Ascenders to 5-0 o the season.
