In the final game of the 2024 Texas high school football season goes to North Crowley. The No. 6 team in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, wins its first state title since 2003 with an impressive 50-21 win over No. 18 Westlake in the Class 6A Division I championship game at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The NC offense was clicking on all-cylinders from the first play. That’s when Chris Jimerson, Jr. threw a 75-yard TD pass to Quentin Gibson on a flea-flicker. From there, the Panthers never looked back against No. 18 Westlake.
North Crowley gained 640 yards in total offense, the second most in a 6A championship game. 341 of those yards came on the ground.
Cornelius Warren was virtually unstoppable, running for 217 yards on 23 carries with a touchdown.
Jimerson was 14-for-23 passing with 299 yards and four touchdowns.
North Crowley finishes a perfect 16-0. Westlake’s final mark is 14-2.
