Southlake Carroll fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter before the Dragons’ offense came to life in the second quarter against No. 29 Denton Guyer Friday night. The Dragons put-up 25 points in the second quarter on their way to a 46-34 victory, which will move the Dragons up from their current No. 61 ranking in the High School Football America 100.
Southlake Carroll sophomore quarterback Quinn Ewers completed 21 of 34 passes for 331 yards with four touchdowns. He also ran for 119 yards.

The win puts Carroll on-top of District 5-6A with a 2-0 mark. The Dragons are a perfect 5-0 on the season. Guyer is now 4-1 and 1-1 in the district.
