For the first time since 2007, Northwestern can call itself a Florida high school football state champ. Friday night, the Bulls, ranked No. 9 in the High School Football America Top 100, beat No. 21 Armwood 21-16 at Camping World Stadium for the Florida Class 6A state championship.
Armwood jumped-out to a 9-0 lead, but once again, the Northwestern defense was equal to the task, holding the Hawks to 150 yards in total offense.
