Ohio high school football fans are in for a treat this week in the quarterfinal round of the Division I and Division II state playoffs. Three of the four quarterfinal matchups in each division feature head-to-head games within the High School Football America Ohio Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.
Heading the list in Division I is the rematch between No. 3 Mentor and No. 4 St. Edward. These two met in the season opener with Mentor winning 42-39.
Defending Division I state champ Pickerington Central continues to battle back from two regular season losses. The Tigers, ranked No. 14 this week, plays No. 10 Hilliard Davidson. The winner of that one plays the winner of the game between No. 2 Colerain and No. 8 Elder.

In Division II, three-time defending state champ Archbishop Hoban, the No. 1 team in Ohio, faces new Top 25 member Maple Heights. The Hoban/Maple Heights winner gets the winner of the other quarterfinal game between No. 8 Toledo Central Catholic and No. 20 Avon.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 6 Massillon Washington goes up against No. 21 Wadsworth.
