A perfect 14-0 season and a 5A championship puts Parkview at the top of the final 2023 High School Football America Arkansas Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. In addition to winning a state title, one of the highlights of the season was a 28-27 win over five-time defending 7A champ Bryant on September 8 that snapped the Hornets’ 54-game win streak against in-state opponents.
In addition to the top ranking in the state, the back-to-back 5A champs finished No. 141 in our national rankings.
7A champ Fayetteville finished a close second to Parkview in the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. On the national scene, the Bulldogs finish No. 172.
After seeing its run of five straight titles come-to-and-end in the state semifinals, Bryant finishes No. 3 in the state.
With a loss to Bryant and a close 24-21 loss to eventual state champ Fayetteville in the state semis, Conway finishes No. 4, followed by 6A champ Greenwood at No. 5, Bentonville at No. 6, Little Rock Christian at No. 8, Pulaski Academy at No. 9 and Shiloh Christian at No. 10.
