Summerville’s Monday night double overtime win over former No. 3 Fort Dorchester shakes up the latest High School Football America South Carolina Top 10. The loss drops the Patriots to No. 9 in the latest rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm. It was also FD’s first loss on the field, having had to forfeit its opening game win against Glynn Academy (Georgia) for use of an ineligible player.
The win by Summerville moves the 7-2 Green Wave a little bit closer to the Top 10 with the playoffs scheduled to start next week.
