The new High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10 is out with two new teams — Reading Memorial at No. 9 and Lincoln-Sudbury at No. 10.
Reading Memorial makes its first-ever appearance in our statewide rankings after beating Belmont 30-7 to improve to 3-0. Sophomore quarterback James Murphy completed 11 of 19 passing for 135 yards and a touchdown. Below you can listen to Murphy talk with New England Football Journal about the game.

Lincoln-Sudbury is 4-0 after its third shutout of the season. The Warriors shutout Watham 42-0 on Thursday.
As far as the rest of the rankings, we never got the highly-anticipated matchup between No. 1 Catholic Memorial and No. 4 Xaverian Brothers, because of COVID-19 protocols. Hopefully, we’ll see the two battle in the Catholic Conference postseason.
No. 6 BC High spent its second week on the sidelines due to protocols, which claimed its matchup with No. 2 Central Catholic. CC picked-up an impromptu game and 42-7 win against Billerica.
Hopefully, CM and BC get back to the field this week for their annual game, which is usually played on Thanksgiving.
