Bergen Catholic may end-up as the top team in the State of New Jersey after beating St. Peter’s Prep 22-15 on Saturday at Jack McGovern Field. Junior running back Ryan Butler short touchdown run with just under two minutes to play was the game-winner.

Butler finished the game with 132 yards on 31 carries.
St. Peter’s, which finishes 4-2, entered the game ranked No. 1 in our statewide rankings and No. 34 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings. BC was No. 3 in the state and No. 52 in the nation.
