Some of the top quarterbacks from across Florida and south Georgia tested their skills at five different stations with each competition group also receiving classroom training.
The competitors warmed-up inside TIAA Bank Field and then ventured to the Jags’ Dream Finders Home Flex Field that is located next to the NFL team’s home stadium.
The competition wrapped-up with six players taking part in a Top Gun Challenge. Two of the Top Gunners hailed from Georgia, with the other four being from the Sunshine State.
The finalist were:
- Stanley Anderson-Lofton, Dr. Phillips (Florida)
- Olivia Cadiz, Dr. Phillips (Florida)
- Zavion DeShazier, Mt. De Sales Academy (Georgia)
- Luke Kromenhoek, Benedictine (Georgia)
- Anthony Miller, Riverview Sarasota (Florida)
- DJ Moore, Bolles Schools (Florida)
Kromenhoek won the Top Gun competition. Below are his three attempts in the long toss, one of which soared 68 yards.
Kromenhoek, who has given his verbal commitment to Florida State, was also named the boys MVP. Ashley Purdy of Sandalwood High (Florida) was the girls MVP.

Last year, Kromenhoek led Benedictine to the Georgia 4A state championship. The Cadets finished No. 239 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
In addition to the on-the-field competition, the athletes heard from former Jaguars quarterback David Garrard and current Jags linebackers Travon Walker and Devin Lloyd.
